ABOUT US
Founded in 2017 by a group of compassionate individuals inspired by Islamic teachings, Pak-Aid Welfare Trust (PAWT) is a non-profit organization registered under the Trust Act of 1882 in Islamabad with registration number 1165-4-1002. We are also accredited by the Pakistan Council of Philanthropy (PCP) with registration No. 658/PCP-R1/2021. Grounded in Islamic values of empathy, generosity, and selflessness, PAWT is dedicated to uplifting the impoverished, orphans, widows, and those in need. Pak Aid's strategic objectives are centered on aligning its efforts with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 17), emphasizing "Partnerships for the Goals." These objectives are meticulously crafted to make impactful contributions to global development endeavors, with a specific focus on strengthening preparedness for emergency response and delivering humanitarian aid, all within the distinctive landscape of Pakistan. Our primary focus is to improve the quality of life, with a special emphasis on women's empowerment. PAWT is renowned for its transparent and efficient aid distribution. Our efforts span across education, healthcare, clean water access, emergency relief, women's empowerment, environmental sustainability, and microfinancing for the most underprivileged. Together, these initiatives are aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty, enhancing healthcare, ensuring clean water, empowering women, fostering environmental responsibility, and promoting economic stability.
